
Membership in the Goschenhoppen Historians is open to the public. It offers many opportunities in which to participate: meetings, seminars, folklife publications, apprentice program, historic preservation, General Store, Folklife Museum, Folk Festival, organ recitals and others.
Regular monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday evening of each month in the restored, turn-of-the-century meeting room of Red Men's Hall in Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Guest speakers present varied programs throughout the year on subjects such as traditional "Dutch" cooking. Pennsylvania German Architecture, local potteries, township histories, genealogy, folk medicine, Pennsylvania German religious sects and the American Revolution. There is also a Pennsylvania German Christmas party in December.
